Black & White Graphic Plates by Mimi Logothetis

Hand-thrown ceramic plates by Mimi Logothetis. Mimi uses a proprietary printing technique to apply graphics referencing historical Greek pottery and transferware traditions. Both as image and pattern or texture, the wet clay is decorated, to tell stories or wry jokes. Her work focuses on environmental issues, man vs. nature and human interpersonal issues, man vs. man. 

Each porcelain plate is 8" in diameter.
