The Ann Arbor Art Fair is a Midwest tradition that draws close to half a million attendees over three days in July. The largest juried show in the nation, Ann Arbor Art Fair features nearly 1,000 artists and a footprint spanning 30 city blocks in downtown Ann Arbor. The Ann Arbor Art Fair is comprised of three independently juried, nonprofit art fairs that run concurrently: Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, The Original; Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair; and the Ann Arbor State Street Art Fair. The artists in attendance specialize in mediums like painting, photography, ceramics, fiber, jewelry, sculpture, and more. They will be showcasing their artwork, connecting with enthusiasts and the community to celebrate creativity.

In addition to all of the high-quality artists, you can experience a variety of free entertainment during your visit ranging from live music to family-friendly activities and performance artists. And there will be lots of fabulous food to enjoy; browse over 30 local award-winning and diverse restaurants and food vendors offering incredible cuisine and refreshing drinks.

Entering its 26th year, the Berkshires Arts Festival has become a 4th of July summer tradition and kicks off the summer cultural season. It attracts thousands of art lovers who come to the Berkshires for theater, dance, music, and art. The festival takes place in the perfect setting of Ski Butternut resort in the lovely village of Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

While most cultural events, such as Tanglewood, Jacob’s Pillow, and the Berkshires Theatre Festival, take place in the evening, the Berkshires Arts Festival has become the chosen daytime attraction for thousands of visitors.

With over 185 artists, workshops, food, puppet shows, and more, it’s a terrific place to visit during your holiday weekend! I am so excited to be a part of this great art fair. For 75 years the Old Town community has hosted this event, the kick off to summer in Chicago.  Today, the Fair is arranged and run by more than 600 neighbors and friends of the OTAF, ensuring that this Fair is unlike any other.

2025 will bring 230+ nationally acclaimed artists, a Community Corner featuring local nonprofit art organizations and Emerging Artists, an estimated 15,000 art lovers, a Garden Walk, Live Music, Food Court and Children’s Corner. Gates open Saturday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, rain or shine.

The Old Town Art Fair is a Fine Art Fair which includes 2D and 3D Mixed Media, Drawings, Paintings, Photography, Printmaking, Ceramics, Glass, Fiber, Jewelry and works in Metal, Stone and Wood. Each year, every artist is selected by an independent jury of art professionals from the Chicago area. There will be returning favorites along with many fresh things to explore — more than half of the exhibiting artists will be new to the Fair. Born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand, Devta now lives and creates in Deer Isle, Maine where he opened his namesake studio shop in 2017. The raw and vibrant landscapes of both New Zealand and coastal Maine have had a profound influence on Devta’s work and vision.
In his youth he developed an early appreciation for jewelry and once in college began taking jewelry making classes and designing pieces with stones he had collected over the years. Enthralled by the creative process, he set up a jeweler's workbench at the foot of his bed. In his own words: "My first pieces were funky and crude, but I could not have been happier. I could see myself doing this for the rest of my life, and here I am. I want my work to be direct. It's all about color. I like to work with 22 karat gold which is as rich and lush as the color of the stones. I want there to be minimal intervention on my part. The work is about the color provided by the gold and stones working in powerful harmony. I am also influenced by ancient and ethnographic jewelry and I want to bring that feeling into a modern context. I deeply appreciate the historical and cultural significance of adorning and expressing oneself with jewelry as a means to tell a story and express ones identity.”

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is an annual celebration of local music and culture held at the Fair Grounds and Race Course in New Orleans, LA. Jazz Fest attracts thousands of visitors to New Orleans each year. The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation Inc. was established in 1970. The Foundation was established primarily to redistribute the funds generated by Jazz Fest into the local community. Their mission further states that the Foundation "promotes, preserves, perpetuates and encourages the music, culture and heritage of communities in Louisiana through festivals, programs and other cultural, educational, civic and economic activities".

Over the course of two long weekends at the end of April and the beginning of May, the festival hosts over 100 musical performers, the likes of Pearl Jam, Lenny Kravitz, Patti LaBelle, Luke Combs and Santana just to name a few. And you will find dozens of delectable food offerings, including Po-Boys, Jambalaya, fried alligator and crawfish etoufee—one meal and you’ll feel like a local!

The Festival’s Crafts now include the diverse works of hundreds of regionally and nationally acclaimed artists in multiple distinct venues. The Congo Square African Marketplace, is alive with the culture and spirit which helped create the jazz and heritage for which New Orleans is known. You will find a wide selection of local, national and international artisans exhibiting ancient crafting techniques, as well as modern variations and adaptations of those techniques. In the Louisiana Marketplace, the state’s finest traditional and contemporary artists display and sell Louisiana inspired photographs, Creole and Acadian furniture, whimsical jewelry and other creations that evoke the state’s unique cultural landscape. I will be in the Contemporary Crafts section, the second weekend of the festival, May 1 - May 4. Set among blues, jazz and gospel music tents in Heritage Square, is a nationally recognized showcase of alluring handcrafted clothing, beautiful leather goods and musical instruments, along with a brilliant array of paintings, photographs, sculptures and irresistible jewelry—which is where you’ll find my booth!

Now in its 20th year and featuring 175 jury-selected artists from across the country, the Berkshires Arts Festival is recognized nationally as one of the country's most respected summer art events. The Berkshires Visitors Bureau rates the Berkshires Arts Festival as one of the top ten "Hot Spots" in Western Massachusetts. It is highly recommended as one of THE places to go for family get-togethers and an extraordinary shopping experience. Artists’ works include: ceramics, leather, jewelry, wood, fashion, fiber, photography, mixed media, sculpture, art glass, painting, and metal. In addition to shopping the artists’ booths, there will be artists demos, workshops, live music, food, wine, and puppet shows. Free parking available.

Enjoy a fun-filled weekend of art, food, music, and activities for all ages at Lakefront Festival of Art! Meet more than 100 artists from across the nation and shop paintings, ceramics, fiber, metalwork, jewelry, and more. Sample Milwaukee flavor from local restaurants, lounge in the sunshine in the beer and wine gardens, and make art in the outdoor Kohl’s Art Studio. Lakefront Festival of Art is organized by Friends of Art (FOA), a support group of the Milwaukee Art Museum. The mission of FOA is to raise funds, used primarily for exhibitions and acquisition of art; to cultivate leaders and volunteers in support of the Museum; and to promote awareness and appreciation of the Museum and visual arts.
